Animation Practice: Sayaka Running1 Sketch

Basic running sequence practice

As I noticed that 5 frames weren't quite enough, I tried 8 frames instead. However, I drew only 4 and then mirrored them to save time and effort. Now that I used the additional frames for slowing down the movement towards extreme positions, I could make the change of the movement direction smoother.

Sayaka was kind enough to run on treadmill for me.
