Nsio Pose Practice 7: Travelling Sayaka Tsuchimiya

My original character Sayaka is back in this pose practice 7 in which she is traveling by train. Download for fullsize

This practice was significantly more demanding than the previous ones because I drew more clothing and also some random objects and background stuff.

1. Sayaka waiting the train. I already posted this pose as a teaser for the livestream.
2. The train appears to be a bit late, Sayaka is getting slightly impatient in the cold weather.
3. Sayaka on train while casually eating snacks and listening music.
4. Time to transfer trains. Since the first train was late, there is less time to get on the another train, so Sayaka runs for it.
5. The platform is slippery though, so she slips down. But don't worry, her shock absorbers are top notch.
6. Sayaka made it in time, though her butt got quite a hit.
7. Oh my, there is such a hot guy sitting next to Sayaka! Sayaka seems anxious.
8. The gentleman reads the body language and asks whether Sayaka needs to head to the ladies room.
9. Sayaka gets off the train clearly relieved for getting out of the situation
10. But wait, where is her luggage?
11. Right, she forgot it in the train. Sayaka is so down.
12. But no worries, the gentleman got off the train here as well and brought Sayakas luggage back to her!

Then there could have been more poses, but the canvas was getting a bit too large already. I also thought this was enough practicing for the time being. I can tell that they aren't heading to a love hotel though (Oh no spoilers!!).

This practice wasn't as useful as the previous ones in a sense that there were so much other things to draw than poses (so it took more time to finish each pose). If I drew the characters naked, I could have drawn a lot more poses. It was still fun to draw and very challenging and educational. Having a character to interact with objects or other characters is definitely good practice. I really enjoyed figuring out how to use body language at its best.

At first I had really hard pose and viewing angle on pose 8. I failed it though, so I discarded it and moved on pose 9. It was crucial part though, so I decided to draw it from a slightly easier viewing angle and with a different scenario. It turned out really good, at least in my opinion. The guy doesn't have a name yet, I'll come up with one if he is seen more on my pose practices.
